TimberRock 2005 Old Vines Chardonnay

- Vineyard: 37 year old vines, Smasne family vineyard, Sunnyside, Wa.
- Vintage Notes: Indian summer conditions. Lovely golden ripe clusters with a distinctive apple Cinnamon flavor. Hand harvested September 22, 2005.
- Fermentation style: Whole cluster pressed, barrel fermented, sur lei aged 8 months in 25% new American Oak, 75% neutral Oak
- Wine Chemistry: pH 3.59, TA .59, Alc 13.5%
- Tasting Notes: This Chardonnay shows with a brilliant honey color. Aromas of tropical citrus delight the nose while
crisp flavors of pineapple, grapefruit and green apples dance on the palate. This wine finishes with a softly lingering honey.
